The solution offered by 1001fontaines is 20L bottles delivered at the last mile. It is a complementary solution to the pipe, the water drops are more in line with 1001fontaines. Addressing this challenge is key: unsafe water consumption is harmful to health, adversely impacts education and economic development, and continues to deepen inequalities.📕 Who we are? At 1001fontaines, we believe that the best solution to improve the health of underprivileged populations is to allow them to drink safe water. For this, we have created an entrepreneurial model allowing them to produce this water independently and sustainably. Concretely, these are our areas of work: WE BUILD WATER KIOSKS We create micro-enterprises that purify water at very low cost and can produce drinking water for 10,000 people a year, for life. WE RECRUIT AND TRAIN VILLAGERS Our goal is to make them true entrepreneurs with a positive economic and social impact for their community. WE DISTRIBUTE WATER IN SCHOOLS FOR FREE Having access to drinking water at school reduces school absenteeism by 75%. Healthy water means fewer diarrheal diseases, and better hydration which improves children's cognitive abilities WE ENSURE THE SUSTAINABILITY OF OUR PROJECTS Economic and qualitative analysis of water, maintenance, coaching and training, we ensure the viability of each water kiosk. 1001fontaines brings a concrete solution capable of solving the water crisis.
