When we feel the hunger pangs of the Ramadan fast, we can empathize with the struggles of the estimated 720 million people facing food insecurity worldwide. This year, Embrace Relief, an international humanitarian relief organization based in the United States, is teaming up with Sweatcoin to walk against hunger throughout the month of Ramadan. As part of Embrace Relief’s International Hunger Relief campaign, we will be delivering nutritious food packages, containing nearly two weeks’ worth of staple foods – including rice, beans, lentils, pasta and flour, as well as cooking materials and other supplies – to families in need throughout the world.
