World hunger has dramatically increased due to COVID-19, supply chain issues, shipping challenges, and war in Ukraine. And the sharpest rise has been in developing countries, where the marginalized and impoverished are at the most risk. Every day, more parents wonder how they’ll feed their children. And more of the vulnerable fall ill because they can’t afford life-giving, nutritious foods. In the last two years, the number of people facing, or at risk of, acute food insecurity increased from 135 million in 53 countries pre-pandemic to 345 million in 82 countries today. Our world is at a critical crossroad. We need your help to rise to the global food crisis challenge and build long-term resilience. The alternative is hunger on a catastrophic scale. Communities who need a solution for hidden hunger learn a sustainable model for growing life-giving gardens. They learn to teach others the same methods, so this low-cost, organic solution for growing health can spread exponentially from community to community.
